I'm the WebMistress of Bootlovers.com and a total boot & glove fanatic.

My name is Teri, and I'm a proud 'out of the closet with bells on' boot, glove, and fetish fashion lover. I co-own a monthly ezine devoted to these things called bootlovers.com. My business partner is David Jackson of DDI (Domination Directory International) and Boot Lovers Digest fame. He does the writing and most of the photos, I do all of the design, programming, tweaking, webcam, resources, and chatroom.

We don't 'do' porn and we do not swipe images from the newsgroups for our e-zine. Quite frankly, the way porn sites have hijacked the word 'fetish' really, REALLY annoys us.

I started this blog because I have a HUGE collection of assorted boot and gloves pics - especially of the 'celeb' variety - and an even bigger selection of rare links in my bookmarks. To say nothing of what is in my head!

Plus I'm a sucker for celeb gossip and red carpet pics.

This blog is not 'officially' associated with Bootlovers.com. The opinions and snark are my own. So don't hold David responsible if you are an Ashley Simpson fan - he has nothing to do with it.

Now please keep in mind that the majority of the links I provide are to copyrighted material. It doesn't belong to us. More importantly, it does not belong to YOU. I suspect the various copyright holders would not mind if people saved the images for their own personal enjoyment; but they would not be pleased if this blog was used as material to set up another website.

That would bring the webGods and their lawyers down on such a person's head, and the webGods tend to be an unforgiving sort. Should such a person feel the need to show off these images on what I am sure would be a FREE site, he or she would certainly give proper credit. To NOT do so would be a VERY BAD THING.

Such a person would have to know or at the very least, suspect that I have a reputation for getting rather 'cranky' about this sort of thing - so let's all play nice, and enjoy the pretty pictures!

Seriously, if you run your own boot website, and are jacking your content from this blog - do the right thing and give credit. I'll play nice and send you traffic.

If you don't play nice...then I tend to react like a rabid pitbull with a grudge and programming skills. It's like a Tourette's thing.

While this blog is an extension of bootlovers.com, it is written by ME. Meaning you may have to tolerate some of my interests!

In addition to the aforementioned fetish items, I'm a sucker for black humor, geek stuff, cute animals, astronomy, and celebrities making fools out of themselves. I doubt this will change, so complaints will be gleefully ignored.

Also, I SUCK at email. No, really - I do. I get so caught up in doing my own thing that I consistantly forget to even check it. So if you do not hear back from me, please do not take it personally. It's probably best to post something in the blog comments!
