Well it only took 4 years...

I've written a 'F.A.Q.' on myself. Well, as close as one can do when expected to explain oneself to a bunch of strangers. With sexy (according to you guys) boot pictures in the margins from various past issues of bootlovers.com - no pun intended - to boot.

As to be expected, I carry on my proud tradition of 'why use three words when twelve will do?' Christ - I need an editor. You may want to read it now before I get some sleep (it's 12:39 p.m. on a Sunday afternoon and no, I haven't been to bed yet), wake up, and realize that this is all a totally silly idea that needs to be deleted immediately.

However - you have a few hours. The Emmy awards are on tonight and it's a tradition with me to watch people who make more in a day than most of us make in a year walk the red carpet, and laugh without an iota of pity at the $30,000 dresses that I hate on sight. I suspect at least one of the Desperate Housewives - none of which are nominated, heehee - will step up to the plate and be absolutely ripped to shreds by the GoFugYourself Ladies tomorrow - they live for this and do a very good job.

I'm still rooting for Kiefer (24) and Chris Meloni (Law & Order:SVU) though. And that Michael Chiklis (The Shield) and Mary Louise Parker (Weeds)  and - most of all - Battlestar Galactica - were not nominated demonstrates how full of shit and out of touch the Hollywood powers that be are.

And after that it's the 4400 season finale, and Brotherhood on Showtime, and Adult Swim always kicks ass on Sunday nights. But I can easily see myself wandering to the computer around 4 a.m., reading what I wrote today, and going, "Oh HELL no" and just deleting the whole lot so you've been warned.
