God, I love it when Divas try to one-up each other.
For those keeping score at home, Christina Aquilera did the ballet shoe thing in her 'Hurt' video. Now here comes Beyonce, in her soon to be released 'Green Light' video, wearing a catsuit, ballet boots AND with 5 back-up dancers balancing in ballet shoes. One can almost hear the "BRING IT BEE-YOTCH!"
We now await JLo's reply.
Unfortunately, the 'Green Light' video is not online yet. I'm *guessing* it will hit MTV tomorrow, since Tuesdays tend to be release dates. Once it hits youTube, I'll link to it.
It's still pretty early for a #56 preview - but how could I resist showing off Mistress Persephone and her gorgeous custom 'skull boots':)? Bootlovers #56 will be online April 15th. Apologies for the delay - moving has set me back a couple of weeks! It'll be worth the wait though - Persephone's gallery will be *huge* and will have video too!
You can thank my roommate for the heads-up on this. Other than The Shield reruns, I never watch a channel called SpikeTV.
For the non-Americans - SpikeTV is kind of like the television version of Maxim, except with a LOT more 'Ultimate Wrestling' and cars. Lots and LOTS of cars. Building them, fixing them, crashing them, buying them, racing them. All with obsessive detail. And blowing shit up. Lots of that too.
There's a SpikeTV program called 'Bullrun' that's on once a week - Thursday nights. Roommate's description (after me bugging him for one)... "It's these bunch of guys in shit-hot muscle cars driving across country and whoever wins gets something."
But here's the thing (as if I care about the cars...) "The races all have flag girls and they are all hot and wear boots."
Me: "What kind of boots??"
M: " Like the type of boots you wear." (Goes back to staring intently at television)
