I spend a ridiculous amount of time hunting down images of Monica Bellucci in leather. She's my #1 girlcrush (sorry Angelina) and I won't (can't) apologise for it. There are worse habits to have. Not only is Irréversible one of my favourite films*, I can't help but snicker when I come across the 'boy blogs' on my daily web journeys. The majority of these blogs gleefully tear women to shreds - especially women over 30. But when it comes to Monica - who is 44 btw - they choke. If she's had any 'work' done - and she probably has - she took the Catherine Deneuve route.
The 'Catherine Deneuve route' means not looking as if your forehead has been stapled to the back of your neck. It means not appearing as if you live in a wind tunnel, and as if you walked out of a Terry Gilliam film.
Unfortunately, I do not speak Italian or Russian, and the majority of Monica's fansites are in those languages. The above image is from the new Intimissimi promo film but I cannot find a super high res version of it - or any other from the scene! Help!

*This is not an endorsement of Irréversible - far from it - most consider it a horror film and unbearable to watch. I lost one of my regular chatroom members - a favorite! - because he bought the dvd and believed me to be mentally damaged for suggesting it to him. He never came back. I can only assume that I am the worst film reviewer in history.
