Mistress Ariana Chevalier

It's been far too long since I last featured a "Boot Woman", and this Lady is WAY overdue. I will admit to having a bias, because she has been a dear friend of mine for almost a decade now and I adore her. She's not one for publicity - so I'll call her tomorrow and expect to be thoroughly bawled out over the telephone over this:).

I was lucky to meet Mistress Ariana Chevalier back in the mid 90's, and we hit it off immediately - even though we basically had nothing in common, except a mutual love of fetish clothing. She didn't have much at the time - she was starting out - but she caught up. Fast.

Ariana was always drawn to rubber - even though I was the friend pushing leather on her. She bought a few leather pieces (probably to shut me up) - but rubber was always her passion. And her fetish desires were decidedly upscale - no cheap leather bras for her. Ariana has designer tastes - whatever leather she buys is Italian and tailored; the latex pieces are custom and exacting. Nothing less than flawless will do. Catsuits, corsets, hoods, bizarre bondage pieces - she quickly surpassed me in knowledge of the European Gummi scene. But boots...we kept that common love.

Those black and red 'Berger' crotch-highs with the 6" heels I own that so many of you love? It was Mistress Ariana who ordered those for me during one of her trips to London, and brought them back to NYC. Thank her for them. It was Ariana who took my drawings to Gino, and allowed him no slack. That they are made of butter soft calf leather and are about as flawless as a pair of boots can be... appreciate her tenacity. She knew how to handle Gino - which was never an easy thing to do, as anyone who dealt with the whole Little Shoe Box run-around back in the day can attest to.

She has so many gorgeous pairs of custom boots that I curse my own genes for being a size 8 while she's a size 6. I can't even borrow a pair (..grief!..)! Red patent leather absolute crotch highs with 7" heels. The black calf and black patent leather zip-up platforms! Zebra crotch-high boots! And (bowing in awe), the one-of-a-kind, black and skin-tight, calf leather chap boots from LSB with 7" heels.

Gino never made another pair - she rode his ass so hard with specifics that he developed a type of PTSD afterwards, and swore to never, ever make a pair again. I - along with several other bootfreaks - would gleefully give my eye teeth for a pair of those chapboots though. Gino may have nearly suffered a nervous breakdown while making them - but the rest of us believe it was totally worth it!

And, of course, she has the matching corsets and catsuits and gloves. It's no wonder that hardcore fetishists tend to be devoted to her. She 'gets' them, and they are delighted to finally find a parter who appreciates them - quirks and all.

One of the worst kept secrets in the 'NYC scene' is that Ariana has the best equipped playspace - rubber lovers will think they've died and gone to heaven - and most private establishment in Manhattan. I don't know if she even accepts new clients at this point in her career, but if you are a person who enjoys the company and surroundings of serious rubber, boots, and a rather stringent set of rules, Ariana is worth your effort.

Introducing Mistress Tokyo

Consider this a bit of an 'advertisement' for tomorrow's post...

Mistress Tokyo is an exceedingly attractive redheaded Dominatrix, currently working out of Salon Kitty's in Sydney, Australia. She adores serious leather and tall boots - so much so that she recently attempted to order a pair of custom boots to add to her collection.

What happened after that will involve TWO 'boot suppliers' that Bootlovers.com has featured in past issues - neither of whom will be looked upon kindly in tomorrow's write-up (sharpening claws with a big ol' evil grin...).

The aforementioned boot suppliers were given ample opportunity to do the right thing for this Lady, but made the choice not to. Both (likely) believe that their...hmmm...what are the words I'm looking for?...Oh, I know! Greed, laziness, and all-around fuckupitry (tm) will go unnoticed in the boot lover world.

(Snickering) Oh HELL no. Sorry boys, but you are about to be thrown into the Google hell of "fetish boots + custom" of bad customer relations. You could have done the right thing - God knows you were given the opportunity and the time to do so. But you chose to behave like greedy cows - so I'm about to treat you like cheap meat.

You have 24 hours to get your collective shit together and do the right thing. If you are not on the ball...well, good luck in finding sympathy. A ridiculous number of us have been RIPPED OFF and treated badly by 'custom' boot makers. And that was before I created this blog so I can gleefully OUT and NAME you jackasses.

Let this be a serious shot across the bow of bootsellers - rip off one of our supporters, and you risk going down in Google history as a bad and irresponsible seller. It would SUCk to be you in that position.

Boot Women : Goddess Sativa

Goddess Sativa: a personal friend and a boot fanatic. If you are not already familiar with her from our previous issues - you're in for a treat.

I originally met Goddess Sativa via our editor, D.J.. I'll admit I was skeptical - I lost count around 1997 of the number of women that D.J. claimed "she's a total boot fetishist!", only to see that woman show herself as a publicity freak - disappointing us both.

But Goddess Sativa came through for us - not only as a true boot freak, but also as a responsible and hard-working prodom and model. It's no coincidence that we have featured her in several issues: Bootlovers 12, 16, 31, 34 and 51, to say nothing of the numerous 'Event' galleries. We've also hung out several times, which included making a mad dash for a Nick Cave concert. She's good people: smart, sincere, and stylish. You would be in good hands in her company.

She owns at least 4  pairs of custom crotch-highs that I am aware of: purple calf leather front and back lace-up 12" heels, black calf leather lace-ups with an 8" heel and 2" platform, purple latex lace-ups, and a pair of purple patent lace-up platforms. The custom boots alone put her miles ahead of her contemporaries, but the matching outfits, beautiful, well-equipped playspaces, well-designed paysites, and work ethic make her a force that few can match.

Maitresse Susanne D'Arcy

I'm starting a new feature today, as a 'shout out' to the Boot Dommes and Fetish Models. It's way of providing you - devoted reader - with a heads-up on websites that you would appreciate; and it will hopefully provide a bit of traffic to the Ladies who deserve our devotion.

First up: Maitresse Susanne D'Arcy of Chicago.

The only reason Maitresse D'Arcy has not been featured in Bootlovers.com is because D.J. has not been able to visit Chicago since we went online. She's been on our personal 'Most Wanted' list for five years now. Susanne is one of US. She's old-school. A true boot and glove freak, with a huge leather and latex wardrobe, and a fabulous playspace. She's one of the best in the biz, and we consider her a personal friend.

Plus, I am a sucker for a tattooed woman, especially one who wears her art with pride and style. Combine that with leather, and I'm a devoted follower. You should be too.
